Cockermouth Window Dressing Competition 2008

On Wednesday 10th October the Mayor of Cockermouth Isabel Burns and Sue Hannah, Chamber of Trade judged the annual Grand Window Dressing Competition 2008 in Cockermouth.

Isabel Burns, Town Mayor, said " How lovely it was looking at all the Christmas windows as so many people had made alot of effort but it was difficult to judge."

Sue Hannah, who judged the windows from the use of the traders own products, said "It is nice to show the businesses and their staff that their contribution to the Christmas feel in the town is appreciated. Many of the shops work hard all year to make their windows attractive and interesting, especially so at Christmas."
