Comment : To whom it may concern! I have just enjoyed the wonderful film about Cockermouth and its beautiful environment. My family and I spend two weeks in the Lake District this year and I must say that this film really tells the truth about Cockermouth! I am very confident that the pictures will help to improve tourist business in Cockermouth! With best regards J.Bomhoff

Comment : Re your web-page on the Christmas Lights, there is no indication of the date on which they will be switched on. \'The last week of November\' is far too vague. I\'d like to visit on the first day, when there are lots of events to enjoy.

Comment : Why did the Town Council move the fireworks display from its great riverside location to some windswept by-pass? Surely a big mistake? Wherever possible events should be in the heart of the town not by a busy A road.

Comment : Hi - just been looking at the photos on this website of the flood - that was my car! It is strange to see as we lost everything in the flood including the cameras so haven't really seen any photos of it previous. Wow! What a weekend!

Comment : We stayed at wyndham holiday park in a caravan and found it a pleasant holiday and reasonably priced at £185 for a week. It was a small friendly caravan park within walking distance of Cockermouth, which is a nice friendly market town with many pubs, restaurants and small shops.
