Woolfest 2008

Woolfest is a celebration of nature\'s finest fibres with everything from rare breed sheep displays and a sale of raw fleeces through to wool products and craft materials. With over 100 stalls, exhibitions from overseas and workshops for everyone from the expert to the beginner, Woolfest attracts almost 4000 people to Cockermouth every year. The event is organised by The Wool Clip, and is held at Mitchell\'s Lakeland Livestock Centre.

Fairfield festival of art

Cockermouth rock festival

Cockermouth rock festival is a non-profit festival set up to encourage and promote local bands and musicians as well as to provide support in the way of funding to the Cockermouth mountain rescue and the Pride of Cumbria air ambulance.
The festival is held at Wellington farm Cockermouth, and will once again play host to a variety of bands and musicians. On site there is also an assortment of traders and food outlets and attractions for all the family.

Cockrock Rock Festival

Now a two day event...July 19 and Sunday July 20.
Once again be the opportunity for people to camp in the field next door for free.
The ‘rapid fire’ stages will once again be in action and there will be a new stage joined to the bar called The Bar Stage.
The Session Tent will be back and there will also be an extra stage for bands to play on. Extra bars, stalls and food outlets will be around the venue.
Tickets go on sale from March 1 at Billy Bowman’s Music Shop.
