The Malcolm Wilson Rally takes place every year early in March, starting and ending in Cockermouth Main St.
It provides 45 miles of rallying on the classic Lakes Stages.

Cockermouth Harmonic Society is performing in a concert of music for Eastertide

Cockermouth Harmonic Society is performing in a concert of music for Eastertide by Stainer , Dyson and Vaughan Williams at Christ Church, Cockermouth on 17 March 2012.
The programme includes Stainer’s Crucifixion and Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs. The concert will start at 7.30pm and tickets will be £12 (children £4), on sale at Billy Bowman’s music shop in Cockermouth or from Jennifer Garrett (tel no. 017687 78041)
