Chairman, Jonty Chippendale writes: "Gladman Developments have agreed that Staff working in Cockermouth businesses may park on their Sullart street site on an unofficial basis and without any liability on Gladman’s part for them or their vehicles. It’s very much on an at your own risk basis. BUT until Monday 14th the gates will be locked at 4.00pm by the refuse people. After then we will be able to keep the gates open as needed. If you can use it please do to free up the proper car parks for customers and encourage your staff to do the same. After we get control of the gates their should be no excuse for using up one of the towns valuable parking spots."

Also be aware... permits for cockermouth car parks can still be bought for £120 from the Allerdale unit on Sainsbury's car park - up till 23/12/2009 after Christmas its £290 for the whole of Allerdale. Act quickly if you need one.
