A beautiful 16th century building that has been renovated to become one of Cockermouth's leading Gastro delights. Unique restaurant dining is set over three floors overlooking the Market Place heart of the old town.

Sean and Jayne and a 30 strong staff ensured the Castle Bar is rated 5 star by the local authority and winners of a CAMRA national design award. (Now included in the 40th edition of CAMRA's annual Good Beer Guide 2013.)

A sun trap terraced beer garden extends behind the historic building.

Monday to Thursday; 11 am - 11 pm.
Friday and Saturday 11 am to 12 midnight.
Sundays 12 noon to 11pm

Food being served: Monday to Friday 11.30am - 2.0pm and 5.30pm to 8.45pm.
Saturdays: 11.30am-3pm & 5.30pm - 8.45pm
Sundays: 12 noon - 2.30 pm and 5.30pm to 8.45pm.
