Breaking News: There is a 77C bus service running from Cockermouth to Keswick via Honister every morning at 7:35 am and 8.35 am . What better way to start the day with a walk and avoid the crowds, a bargain at £2 each journey. Once at Lorton you can connect with other 77 buses via Whinlatter and Honister. The Civic Trust will be leading tours of Cockermouth Castle in June 2024 as follows:
Friday June 14th, 2pm
Saturday June 15th, 2pm
Sunday June 16th, 2pm.
Entry will be by advanced ticket only, obtainable from the Library/Tourist Information Centre as from 10am on Saturday 4th May.
